If ACORN was the only organizations that got money from the government to buy votes, then, with a little cooperation from the Attorney General’s office, we could stop it; however the ACORN brand is just one of hundreds of these government-funded groups whose sole purpose is to elect Democrats.

Don’t believe me and think I need a tin foil hat? Read the prose below before you call me crazy.

In 2009, the front page of the Salinas Valley newspaper, “The Californian,” had a picture of  congressman, Sam Farr-D, speaking for Communities Organized for Relational Power in Action (COPA) and two other ACORN-like “foundations” CHISPA and Industrial Areas Foundation Network .

Here is part of the actual article from The Californian and comments from Blogging For Liberty.

“ WATSONVILLE, CA — U.S. Rep. Sam Farr, D-Carmel, met with more than 800 members of the Communities Organized for Relational Power in Action (COPA) on Sunday to tackle four key issues facing Monterey and Santa Cruz counties. It should be known that COPA is affiliated with the Industrial Areas Foundation Network (the second ACORN-like,government-funded group represented at the meeting), and the Community Housing Improvement Systems and Planning Association Inc. (the 3rd ACORN-type group on the panel at the meeting)!

”The congressman promised the group’s leaders and members they have his (Farr’s) support in achieving its goals. Of couse meeting with these statists is bad enough, but Representative Farr went on to say this: “I think together we can accomplish a lot,” Farr said, “and I will work with you to get it done.” Representative Farr agreed to work with COPA to get more trained U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development counselors to assist families facing foreclosures. He also invited bank representatives to meet with COPA to facilitate loan modifications.”

As mentioned above, COPA is affiliated with the Industrial Areas Foundation Network (ACORN-like, government-funded group). Curious, I went online and found the Industrial Areas Foundation Web site, and this is what I found:

“The leaders and organizers of the Industrial Areas Foundation build organizations whose primary purpose is power – the ability to act – and whose chief product is social change*... the leaders use that base to compete at times, to confront at times, and to cooperate at times with leaders in the public and private sectors…The IAF develops organizations that use power – organized people and organized money – in effective ways…The living reality of the IAF is overwhelmingly present in the 59  IAF affiliates functioning in 21 states, Canada, the United Kingdom, and Germany. ..The current generation of IAF organizations began in the mid-1970’s and was the product of the insight and effort of the person who succeeded Saul Alinsky* as executive director of theIAF, Edward T. Chambers. The first three modern IAF groups were the Citizens Organized for Public Service (COPS)*, in San Antonio, Texas; Baltimoreans United in Leadership Development (BUILD), in Maryland; and the Queens Citizens Organization (QCO), in New York. Since then, 59 local organizations have emerged in regional clusters:

  • 14 organizations in the northeastern cities and counties between Boston and Washington
  • 5 organizations in the south and near south
  • 6 organizations in the midwest in Illinois, Wisconsin, and Ohio
  • 27 organizations in the states of Iowa, Nebraska, Louisiana, California, Texas, Arizona, and New Mexico
  • 4 organizations in the northwest, in Oregon and Washington
  • international affiliates in Canada, England, and Germany

*”Social justice” and “social change” as I am sure you know, are euphemism for redistribution of wealth.

Saul D. Alinsky (1909-1972) – a community organizer from Chicago’s Back of the Yards. From the late 1930s until his death in 1972, Alinsky crisscrossed the country, stirring the have-nots — poor whites and blacks — to demand power from the haves. Alinsky was more than just an organizer; he founded the Industrial Areas Foundation Training Institute commonly called the “Alinsky School” which was the training ground for many important community and labor organizers.

In 1970, Time Magazine hailed Alinsky as “a prophet of power to the people,” contending that Alinsky’s  ideas had forever changed the way American democracy worked. They should have substituted “cheated” for “worked.”

*(COPS) is the organization that we used to see in action on the local TV news out of San Antonio beginning in the 70s.

Trillions of stimulus dollars is going to the many different community organizing groups throughout the nation directly or indirectly; so now these organizations have been funded with over a thousand billion dollars of tax-payer money to buy votes for Democrats. We need to be very scared and figure out a way to thwart these socialist/communists/fascists or none of us are safe.
